Day 1178: This Guy Has the Right Idea
I wish I had thought of it myself! I’d go even further and get the Moonpod people to give a discount to people with tickets for the show. Sponsorships by Tylenol Simply Sleep, and companies that make any type of white noise machines, earplugs, eye masks, and feetie pajamas for adults. And blankies. The softest blankie I have came in a box from Spoonful of Comfort. They should sponsor the festival, too.
So, I’ve been gone for a while. This past year has been a real ride. Last year, I did a bit of traveling back and forth to NJ to see family, help with family stuff, and attend my brother’s wedding. That was fun. Then I had knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus and had to be off it for FOUR weeks. Yes, it was four weeks in bed, but don’t even begin to think I slept all of that time. I did work, of course, for most of it (thanks to the cool laptop monitor extender I bought). I prepared by taking a bunch of crafting stuff to my room, so I crafted, too. I read, watched tv, and Zoomed with my friends. At the time, I was so frustrated by my limitations, but I have to admit that I kind of liked it, being waited on and being left alone to do my own thing. And now that I’m tired again, I dream of another knee surgery.
I mean, I do have another knee.
Just kidding.
Or am I?
